Walt Disney was a master of entertaining education. And his parks are proof! Disney’s parks mix vibrant fantastic imagery that inspires creativity and a scientific and humanitarian exploration of our human experience.
The parks are always packed, even on light days, so definitely plan for a full day, and try not to be too disappointed if you don’t get to see it all. You can get a good idea of how busy the park will be on the day you’re going by checking out crowd calendar sites, like isitpacked.com. Also, you can guarantee the parks will be busier on a Tier 4 day than on a Tier 1 day.
Parking isn’t free, but outside food is allowed. Of course, they have many amazing eateries inside the park, including tons of kiosks for snacks and cold drinks, so you don’t need to pack anything if you don’t want to. I recommend at least bringing some water so you don’t overreach your budget buying drinks.
Look closely at your surroundings as you travel through the park. There are a lot of hidden gems and things to learn tucked into every corner. Your family will definitely never forget this field trip, and you’ll count the days until you can go again!
