From the dawn of space exploration to current and ongoing missions, you can get an up-close, hands-on feel for the story of humans in space at the Kennedy Space Center! Located on the coast outside of Orlando, you’ll have a blast spending the day learning about space travel and seeing historic sites.
Drivers, please note that Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is located on federal property. Observe posted speed limits as traffic violations will result in heavy fines. Parking isn’t free, so plan ahead for that. Food and beverages packed in small, soft-sided coolers are permitted. Glass bottles or containers are not permitted.
Daily Admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex includes Space Shuttle Atlantis®, Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®, and the Universe Theater featuring many shows daily including: Mission Status Briefings and Mission Control: The Unsung Heroes of Apollo. All other exhibits and attractions are also included: Shuttle Launch Experience®, space films in the IMAX® Theater, Journey to Mars: Explorers Wanted, the Rocket Garden and the Space Mirror Memorial. There is so much to see and experience, your students will love it!
