Travel Guide

The Museum of Tolerance is a human rights laboratory and educational center dedicated to challenging visitors to understand the Holocaust in both historic and contemporary contexts and confront all forms of prejudice and discrimination in our world today. Your students will learn about a variety of important peace-building topics in interactive and memorable ways.

There is free underground parking in the Museum complex. The entrance is on Pico Blvd. Please do not park on residential side streets. You will be ticketed and/or towed. No outside food or beverages are permitted within the museum, so we recommend eating bag lunches at nearby Rancho Park, located at the corner of Pico Boulevard and Motor Avenue.

Take a breathtaking journey through dramatic events in 20th century history. Learn what leads people to hate, and how ordinary people have changed the world one extraordinary action at a time. The Museum of Tolerance will motivate your students with thrilling exhibits that bring history to life and draw parallels to current events. Definitely an important field trip, especially for your older students. They’ll never forget it.
