Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is more than just an amusement park. It’s both an interactive living lesson on physics and a zoo! Discovery Kingdom has an entire section dedicated to animals, with animal exhibits and even animal-themed shows.
In between rides, take time to enjoy the shade and gorgeous views over by the lake. Outside food isn’t allowed, but there are lots of places to purchase food and cold drinks in the park. Parking isn’t free, and the walk to the park from the parking lot is a bit of a distance, so be sure to plan for that walk or pay extra to park closer if they have that option available on the day you go.
Take advantage of all of the different types of rides available to discuss different topics in physics and listen to your students talk about their experiences. They won’t forget their day learning about their physical world at the Kingdom!
