Ocean trips are a fantastic way to fully immerse your students in the magic of the Pacific Ocean and all of its inhabitants. You’ll get to see sea lions, dolphins, and even whales, along with a number of seabirds. There’s nothing like feeling the wind and spray of the water as you explore the earth’s largest ecosystem!
Parking is free at all of these locations, and food is welcome on the boats. Be sure to pay attention to the way your students are feeling, as some can become quite ill with the movement of the boat. If that happens, encourage them to get some fresh air on the boat deck and look out to the horizon to help give their brains a stable reference.
There’s nothing like being out on the ocean to really bring home the wondrous mystery of this watery world. Your students will never forget this trip!
